@ MJ - Rufus could win the whole thing, however I could vote him off by next strip. That’s the beauty about being your own creative GOD.

Take a breath dear readers…I am fine. I am however buried in teaching lesson plans which has kicked me in all my pretty parts.
There will be a new comic Monday though…so I hope you tune in.
Just have to be patient for awhile as teaching leads to income which leads to more cartooning…

Income leads to discretionary income which leads to not being stuck at home because you’re too poor to go out. It leads to thoughts like “gee, we can afford another kid.” More money does not lead to more cartooning unless the money comes from cartooning.

Laurinda, Worth, everybody, When Jarrett comes back let’s make like we haven’t even noticed he’s been away (he’ll never guess, right?) He’ll be like “Sorry for the delay, and here’s my new blah-dy blah, blah”, and we’ll all be like; “Seriously dude, What.? we’ve been busy with the…er…’thing’!” (point vaugely in an obscure direction!) He’ll be so confused, and we’ll be pi$$ing ourselves!

Man, just think…in between the time when this strip was posted and now, “Small Wonder” has ended and Rufus has ceased to exist. If this storyline is ever continued, it will be mind-boggling and kind of trippy to have Rufus continue to exist here but not in his home strip.
That said, I really hope that Jarrett comes back and posts some new strips. I miss “Mandy” and “Some Day Hero.”

You survived a school year (which is more than I can say for myself, I taught some GENUINE rascals ,the polite term, that doen’t begin with an a******) in the last 6 months.
